Email messages in HTML are converted to text on Ex2010 server-side rule
Hello, We have a customer using the following platform: 2 Exchange 2010 / 2008 R2 Ent. in a 2-node failover cluster Only "inbound" Email is filtered by a cloud based Email service (not outbound) We have a user that wants all Email to his inbox (on Exchange 2010) to be forwarded to his personal Email address. This was setup by simply creating external contact for his personal address and then forwarding using "delivery options". Also, delivering to both forwarding address and mailbox. He uses outlook 2007 / POP3 at home to access his personal Email account which also has all the forwarded messages from Exchange. The issue is rather peculiar to say the least. Only Emails sent from users in the Exchange 2010 Domain (that are then forwarded to his personal account) have HTML stripped and are received in plain text. Emails sent from any other source composed in HTML are delivered to his personal account with HTML intact. Is there any Exchange policy or connector setting that could possibly be doing this? Keep in mind that their SPAM filtering policy does not apply to outbound Email. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated. Regards, Curtis

Hi As far as I know, you can run set-MailUser –MessageBodyFormat: test But it doesn’t meet your request. Many firewall can support this function.
