Email not received in Outlook
HiI am trying to troubleshoot what should be an easy issue :) An application is generating an email to a user who has an email address of joe@domain.com , however he is not apparently getting it.I checked Exchange 2007 Message Tracking and the command shows the following: Sender : application@domain.com Recipients : joe@domain.com MessageSubject : TEST EventId : DELIVER We've checked his rules, Junk Email etc and also OWA. Is there any way to find out where the message could have gone? This happens whenever the application tries to send him the mail, other peolpe are not affected and he doesn't seem to have a problem with other messages.

It might be interesting to configure an alternate recipient for the user so that all mail coming in to that mailbox is also delivered, subsequently, to another mailbox. Also, can the application be configured to send to two addresses? One internal and one external might be a test.Turning on the DumpsterAlwaysOn feature (if needed) in Outlook to see what is in the per-folder deleted items tables also might be interesting.what happens if you just use telnet to connect to port 25 on Exchange and manually enter the SMTP information to submit the message?
