Helo, We bought another company and some of our current users will be part of new company. I have to change email addresses for users with new domain ofthe newcompany. The question i have is if it is possible to set a global notification mail which will tell people from outside of company that there mail has change and to use the new one. Like this: someone from outside company send mail to my old domainxy@olddomain.com and he get reply or notfication that the new email address is xy@newdomain.com Is this possible to set up without making rules in outlook? If you are using Exchange 2007 then you canset Transport Rule on incoming internet Edge/Hub transport server with action Send bounce message to sender with enhanced status code and in text you can give information about new email address. Hi, I dont think this function could be achieved as far as I know. But we can try another work around that append disclaimer toreach the basic goal. Set the condition as below: Select sent to users inside or outside the organization, choose append disclaimer test using font, size, color, with separator and fallback to action if unable to apply. Hello Peter, If I understood correctly, you want to deliver the message to recipients mailbox and then need to send a bounce message to sender. Okay then you can go for another trick, Add additional action add a recipient in the To field addresses in same transport rule and mention the same recipients address in this. This delivers email to recipients mailbox first as per action no 1and then will processaction no 2 to bounce message to sender.
