Emails disapearing from Users Mailbox - Exchange 2010

We have a bit of a weird situation and need to get a resolution to this issue.

One of the users in our Exchange 2010 SP3 environment is having an issue at random times where by they are having emails disapear from their Inbox only and is randomly effecting emails.

We thought a while back (several months) that this issue had been resolved, something to do with conflicts with Outlook Versions, but the user in question only uses OWA and Active Sync onto an iDevice.

Has anyone seen the same issue and had a work around for it? There is nothing more I can describe with the error apart from when the email has disappeared from the live Email view from OWA, the emails are on the iPhone, so they can be sent back through to the mailbox on the server. I am not sure if this is pointing to a sync issue with the phone but it just seems odd but connected in some way.

Hi there, nope it's ESET File Security for Windows Servers. This comes with preloaded exclusions for roles on servers such as IIS, Exchange etc..

Hi

First check if there is any Managed Folder policies or Retention polices setting on that user. This could confirm the issue is from server side or client side.

Also check the setting on his iDevice.
