hi,
The Exchange Server Enterprise CAL is an additive CAL and requires that a Standard CAL is also purchased for each user or device. The Exchange Server Enterprise CAL provides access to Unified Messaging and advanced compliance, as well as Forefront Security for Exchange Server and Exchange Hosted Filtering for onsite and hosted antivirus and anti-spam protection.and detailed information about buying exchange server 2007 enterprise CAL;http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2007/howtobuy/default.mspxExchange FAQs for licensing;http://www.microsoft.com/exchange/2007/howtobuy/licensingFAQ.mspxregards,Mumin CICEK | Exchange - MVP | www.cozumpark.com | www.mumincicek.com

hi,you can enter serial key by EMC or EMS ;From Exchange Managements Shell (EMS) ;Set-ExchangeServer -Identity ExServer01 -ProductKey aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa-aaaaa
If the server being licensed has the Mailbox role installed, restart the Information Store to apply the change by performing the following steps:
On a stand-alone server, open a Command Prompt window and run the following commands:net stop msexchangeisnet start msexchangeis
On a clustered mailbox server, open the Exchange Management Shell and run the following commands:Stop-ClusteredMailboxServer <CMSName> -StopReason "Product Key" -Confirm:$FalseStart-ClusteredMailboxServer <CMSName>From Exchange Management Console (EMC) follow the steps below;
Open the Exchange Management Console.
In the console tree, expand Server Configuration.
In the result pane, select the server that you want to license.
In the action pane, under the server name, click Enter Product Key. The Enter Product Key wizard appears.
On the Enter Product Key page, type the product key for the Exchange server, and then click Enter.

BTW, Exchange Server Enterprise edition license and Exchange Enterprise CALs are two different things, first one is for Exchange Server while CALs are for clients to access Exchange Server... Just FYI... :)Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com
