Envelope Sender is blank. How do I get around this?
We have a distr. list that contains a few external users. Well these users are not recieving the emails from this distr. list because the Envelope Sender is blank, so the remote agency drops / bounces the email. How do you add a Envelope Sender to a Distr. List? We are running Exchange 2003. Thanks for any help!-Ryan

The MAIL FROM address should be the address ofthe sender. You can check the SMTP protocol log on your server to verify that theaddress.---Rich MatheisenMCSE+I, Exchange MVP--- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

Hi Ryan, Please check whether the option "send delivery reports to message originator" option has been selected for the distribution list instead of the option "Do not send Delivery Reports". ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mike Shen TechNet Subscriber Support in forum If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb @ microsoft.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
