Hi
Can you try to run the topology preparation steps manually?

Is that Windows Server 2008 *R2*, or just Windows Server 2008? Are you
trying to install Exchange 2007 RTM or 2007 SP3?

If the version of Exchange and the O/S are in the supportability
matrix, try running the installation using "Run as administrator".
Having administrative rights and actually being the administrator
aren't quite the same.

Hi
This third service pack for Exchange 2007 enables Exchange 2007 to be installed on the Windows Server 2008 R2 version of the operating system.
You can download it from here and install it directly.
