Hi, I'm getting error 9176 and 9057 on Exchange 2007 SP1. Notice the error was logged in the event viewer several hours after decommision 1st exchange 2003 from the site. I did restart all GC servers and ensure the TCP/IP Netbios helper service is started automatically, but the error still persist. Any possibility it is due to decommision of 1st Exchange 2003? No changes on GC or domain controller. Any suggestion would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I ran into the same issue whilst installing SP1 myself. If you open up the management console, under Server Configuration -> Hub Transport -> Receive Connectors, double-click on the 'default' connector, and set the FQDN to that of the internal name of your server. So, for instance your mail server is named "exchange" and is on the "domain.local" domain, set it to exchange.domain.local. Then, click 'OK,' and you're done. You should be able to continue on with the SP1 installation. I hope this will help you. Regards.
