Error Installing a new Exchange 2007 into existing Constellation
Hi out there,
i have a big Problem:
I want to add a new Exchange 2007 (installation from Medium without any SPs) to a child domain in a forest where already 30 exchange servers are! All Servers are DC and GC with Win SRV 2003 R2 64Bit full patched, the Exchange also! Every Exchange in our
subdomain is SP3 and patched!
If i want to add the new one via Setup.exe the CHECK Fails and says i have to be a member of the "Exchange-Organisationadmin" or Organisationadmin group (sorry i have German OS Version)
I am Member of domain admins in the subdomain (in fact it IS the administrator!)
In the ROOT Domain i am in the Group "Exchange-Organisation-Admins"!!!
So hat could be the deal here?!
THANKS!!!

i can translate this... no Problem...
as you can see the error relates in Access Permission failure writing/reading the Exchange AD Objects...
i can add a piece of the Logfile if needed!
My last question would be if there is a possibility to check AD Access Permissions with a tool! So that i can see if therer are problems accessing containers in the AD tree!!
--- Thanks for Helpin'

Hi,
Regarding to the installation issue, we usually analysis the error message and the whole ExchangeSetup.log file to troubleshoot the issue. If the language version
is not English, it’s hard to find the culprit and the log file is very large. I’m afraid that you have to contact our Customer Service and obtain a dedicated Support Professional. Thank you for your understanding.
By the way, to install Exchange 2007 on the sub domain, the account should have the following permissions: Local Administrator on the server; Enterprise Administrator;
Domain Administrator. For more information about prerequisites, please refer to the following article:

Thanks.
