Hi Harpreet, First, lets see the explanation of error 4.4.7: Possible Cause: The message in the queue has expired. The sending server tried to relay or deliver the message, but the action was not completed before the message expiration time occurred. This NDR may also indicate that a message header limit has been reached on a remote server or that some other protocol timeout occurred during communication with the remote server. Troubleshooting: This code typically indicates an issue on the receiving server. Verify the validity of the recipient address, and verify that the receiving server is configured to receive messages correctly. You may have to reduce the number of recipients in the header of the message for the host that you are receiving this NDR from. If you resend the message, it is placed in the queue again. If the receiving server is on line, the message is delivered. Meanwhile, please check if you can send a mail to that user via telnet. Queue name - rediffmail.com Additional Queue Information - An SMTP protocol error occurred. Telnet to Port 25 to Test SMTP Communication Able to telnet and got response 220 and 250 and for sending mail via telnet as described under the link you provides (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=153119 ) it asks for authentication when RCPT TO command is used as rediffmail provides free email ids as yahoo does. Please also let us know if the issue happens on all users or only this user? It happens on all domains on just these 2-3 domains? It happens for all users and it happens on just 3-4 domains as per my observation till now.
