Error during the installation of first active node in SCC
I am trying to install a first node of my Single Copy Cluster. I prepared all the storage and make sure that storage is presented to all future nodes (disk R:\EXCHVS5_Data\SG1 is located on SAN). I use MNS type quorum. I tried to install SCC Active Mailbox Node on one of the nodes using both GUI and command prompt. I have an error message inboth cases:E:\>Setup.com /m:install /roles:mailbox /newcms /cmsname:EXCHVS5 /cmsipaddress:1 0.199.42.73 /cmssharedstorage /cmsdatapath:"R:\EXCHVS5_Data\SG1" /targetdir:"D:\ Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server" Welcome to Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 Unattended Setup Preparing Exchange Setup The following server roles will be installed Management Tools Mailbox Role Clustered Mailbox Server Performing Microsoft Exchange Server Prerequisite Check Mailbox Role Checks ......................... Hi Johan,It is said in this article: "To resolve this problem, run the Setup process again with the /newcms option. " But I already did it. And I also have only one site, so PDC is in the same site where new Mailbox server.Cheers, Alex
