Error installing Mailboxrole Trantport service
Error:
The following error was generated when "$error.Clear();
if($RoleStartTransportService)
{
srtart-SetupService -ServiceName FMS
}
"was run: "Service 'FMS' failed to reach status 'running' on this server.".
I looked it up on google and should be related to IPv6.
The only thing is that I left IPv6 on both my server and the Hyper-V console server which Exchange will be running on enabled.
I'm out of ideas.

Hi Fred,
Thank you for your quick reply, I appreciate it.
I did a clean install of Server 2012 and followed the prerequisites for Exchange 2013 exactly.
It never mentioned the Flash Media Server and I am not able to locate it in services either.
How do I disable the Flash Media Server?

Hi Martina,
Thank you for the additional information.
Any idea why Microsoft Filtering Management Service fails to run?
Like I said, both Domain Controller and the Server that will be used for Exchange are recently clean installed and I followed the prerequisites instructions exactly like Microsoft said.A fake is a fake and no matter how much you dress it up, the real thing always wins.

Sorry, I don't know.
I just wanted to point out that FMS had nothing to do with Flash Media Server as Fred wrote.
See if you can get the Mailbox Role to install without enabling the anti-malware protection.Martina Miskovic

Used back up, renstalled Exchange 2013 and this time disabled anti-malware protection.
I'm still stuck at 98% and receiving the same error.

Removed System Center Endpoint Protection from the server and FMS is now running again!
Still, now I'm left with a security issue.
