Since moving over to windows 10, I can't send e-mails and get the message (cannot connect to the network error message Ox800ccc13).

I've tried to run the command prompt (admin) sfc / scannow, but keep getting the message " there is system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart". Each time I reboot the same message appears.

It's very frustrating not being able to send and reply to e-mails, can you help 

 

I have the same problem.

I have a Surface PRPO3 and am running Outlook 2013 (POP3 for receive & SMTP for send) and since upgrading to Windows 10, I have started receiving the (cannot connect to the network error message Ox800ccc13) error message. I am able to receive emails and what is really weird is when I try to repair the account and do a test during set up - a test email sends without a problem. When I go into Outlook to then send a message I get the above error?

Things I have tried to date:

1. I have tried setting up a new account (POP3 & SMTP). Test works fine during set up but when I go to Outlook to send - same problem.

2. Start Outlook 2013 as Administrator - same problem

3. Start Outlook 2013 in Safe Mode - remove add-ins one at a time until all removed - same problem

I also have an exchange server account set up on same tablet and it is working fine.

Any help would be very much appreciated - I have tried everything I know.

If you create a new Profile to setup the account, does the issue persist?

I've recently seen some users face this issue since the upgrade to Windows 10. If there is any update on this issue, I'll let you know as soon as possible.

To recover from the issue, you must run the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker tool, also know as System File Checker or sfc. This tool scans and verifies the integrity of all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct versions.

1. Right click on the Start button of Windows and choose: Command Prompt (Admin).
   • If you dont see this, instead choose: Windows PowerShell (Admin)
2. Behind the prompt type: sfc /scannow
   (note the space in the command)
3. Wait until the process completes. This usually doesnt take longer than 20 minutes with a regular hard disk and takes much shorter when you have a fast SSD drive.
4. Restart your computer

From the advise passed over it appears the solution is to run the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker tool. But as I stated above when I try to run the command prompt (admin) sfc / scannow I get the message " there is system repair pending which requires reboot to complete. Restart". Each time I restart and try to re-run the programme the same message appears and the programme won't start

Any ideas

   

I've now managed to sort the problem out, the Resource Checker tool wouldn't start due to pending emails stuck in the outbox, which I couldn't delete. I was able to set a time out switch, from which I was able to delete the e-mails thus allowing the Resource Checker tool to run.

I'm now able to sent emails again.
