Hi Ed,
I ran the
Setup /m:RecoverServer,
The new Server has the same OS than the old (Windows Server 2008 R2) the Exchange is also the SP1 just like the old and all the updates from MS...
All the prerequisites are installed, when I ran the command everything seems fine with the languages, prerequisites, etc. but when starts with the Hub Transport Role (is the first role of the 3, Hub, CAS and Mailbox) I'm getting the error...
Thanks for your response!

Is there anything in the event log that might suggest why the service won't start?Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

Hi,
Was Exchange installed in the default directory (%programfiles%\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14) before?
If not you need to use the parameter /TargetDir when you recover the server.
Exampele:
Setup.com /m:RecoverServer /TargetDir:"D:\Exchange Server\"
I have seen the exakt error message when that parameter wasn't specified and also others when it comes to recover a HUB Server.Martina Miskovic - http://www.nic2012.com/

Hi ViktorFF,
Any updates?
Please also check whether the Recovering Exchange server is a member of
Exchange Servers Group(domain.com->Microsoft Exchange Security Groups) and
Exchange Install Domain Servers group (domain.com->Microsoft Exchange System Objects).

Hi,
See the information in this thread
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/exchange2010/thread/7f0f2ea5-73f0-4a61-8f9f-728f11eea98b
You will need to use ADSIEdit to do some cleanup and I would recommend you to use the version for Windows 2003, for the reason I write in the above thread.Martina Miskovic - http://www.nic2012.com/

Martina,
I set the value to Not Set on CN=Configuration,DC=xxx,DC=com.
Now I'm going to manually replicate the modifications and I'll post the results!
Thanks again!!

You did something that is not supported (just so you know :)
Follow the instructions in the link and check for otherWellKnownObjects on CN=Configuration,DC=xxx,DC=com.Martina Miskovic - http://www.nic2012.com/
