Hi All, I am trying to recover a user mailbox from RSG.I am using Exchnange server 2007 Mailbox server, This is a CMS.When i try to merge the users mailbox to my mailbox or for that matter any mailbox i get Error merging mailbox (/O=ENERGY/OU=ITASCA/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=GRVD03) into user (DRTESTLCO08). Error message is: Unexpected error [0xDFCC8D9] while executing command 'restore-mailbox -Identity DRTESTLCO08 -rsgdatabase "EXMAIL02\Recovery Storage Group\sg1db1" -rsgmailbox "/O=ENERGY/OU=ITASCA/CN=RECIPIENTS/CN=GRVD03" -TargetFolder DavidG Restore -BadItemLimit 10'..Please let me know where i am goign wrongThanks in advance.Shiv

Hi Shiv, If you create a new mailbox and merge the GRVD03 mailbox into the new created mailbox, whether does the issue can be reproduced? Whether the other mailboxes in the RSG can be merged into the new mailbox? If theGRVD03 can be merged into new created mailbox, please attempt to move theDRTESTLCO08 mailbox to another Mailbox Store to check whether the issue can be solved. If the issue cannot be solved, please also paste the report file here.Mike

HiI have copied the same command in shell and it worked for me. I got the same error when working on a different mailbox merge operation which worked even without the -verbose and -debug switches at the end of the command.Amit thank you for giving the direction MikeMike i have tried all the steps suggested by you before posting the issue over here.
