I am getting a large number of Event IDs 1017 on my Exchange 2007 server.Disabled performance counter data collection from the "BITS" service because the performance counter library for that service has generated one or more errors. The errors that forced this action have been written to the application event log. Correct the errors before enabling the performance counters for this service.Any thoughts on why?I notice there is a "BITS 4" availabel for download. Can/shoudl I install that?As always, messing aroudn with my Exchange server makes me nervous.Thanks,Bob

Installed BITS 4, however the event log continues to receive the 1017s.Thanks,Bob
