Event ID: 9667 mount dismount
Hello,
I am receiving the Event ID:9667
Failed to create a new named property for database "First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (XXXXXXX)" because the number of named properties reached the quota limit (8192).
User attempting to create the named property: "XXXXXX"
Named property GUID: 00020386-0000-0000-c000-000000000046
Named property name/id: x-ecircle-complaints "
I followed the procedure:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb851493.aspx
I Got the GUID Of the database impacted (Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity "Server01\MBX1" | Format-List GUID)
1) I created the DWORD value "Named Props Quota" and entered a decimal value in the Value data text box equal to 32700
2) I changed the DWORD value "NonMAPI Named Props Quota" value to 16384
3) I created the DWORD value "Replids Quota" and entered a decimal value in the Value data text box equal to 32700
--> Are the value for "Named Props Quota" "NonMAPI Named Props Quota" and "Replids Quota" okay as I set them??
4) Now I have to Dismount and Remount the impacted database.
--> I have never dismount and remount a database and I would only like to know what would be the consequences for the users? Would that create a service interruption? Is that a straight forward manipulation to dismount and remount a database throught
the EMC?
Many thank in advance for your advice.

Hi
Dismounting a database would make all mailboxes that are hosted in it to be offline until it is mounted again, so those users will experience an outage.
What version and service pack level of Exchange are you running? You should read this blog post too:

Many Thanks steve!
It is Exchange 2007 SP1.
I have read the blog thanks. Do you think the steps I have taken after I will dismount and remount te database are correct and would fix the issue??
I just do not wanna miss something or not doing the right things.
In case I would not be able to remount the database, can I just do move-mailbox for the users hosted on the database impacted?
Many thanks again steve!
