Event ID 1014 IMAP4SVC
Server 2003 Standard w/SP2, Exchange Enterprise 2003 w/SP2 and latest updatesReceiving the following error message periodically at no particular time, sometimes going weeks with no problems and sometimes every day. When this occurs, Outlook Web Access completely quits working and smartphones stop receiving emails. I have turned up diagnostic logging, but have not been able to find anything else related. I have scoured the Internet, but have not found any difinitive answer. Hello Brad,
Regarding the Event ID 1014 IMAP4SVC error, this is actually an Error that should be ignored and doesnt mean any issue with the server or the store. I suggest you change the log level
In the Exchange System Manager, please go to the Exchange server name properties -> Diagnostics Logging -> IMAP4SVC and turn it off by selecting None for the same.
Regarding the OWA and smartphones problem, I suggest you run Exbpa to do a health check to see if you could find some clues. When they stopped working, there should be other related error in event log. If so, please paste here.
Please also make sure you have installed all latest updates of Exchange Server as well as Windows Server.
