Hi,
Please try to recreate the mailbox for that mailbox and then check the issue. You can follow the steps below to recreate mailbox:
1. Export all data from this users mailbox to PST. It can be done by using Outlook or exmerge.exe.
2. In AD users and computers, right click on the user object, select Exchange Tasks then remove mailbox
3. Mailbox enable this user again and a new mailbox will be associated with.
Besides, you can run ExBPA to have a health scan to see if any issue has been occur to the server.

Unfortunately this error is for multiple users...I doubt that we would be permitted to perform the mailbox task on so many users.

Hi,
The error is logged because the RTF body of the message is corrupt. Id recommend to schedule a downtime and run isinteg -s <servername> -fix -test alltests on the mailbox database where those users are homed,or you can try to move these mailbox to another maibox store.
Before you try to correct the issue, please check event log to see any other related error event and post the detail information here.
Besides, have you run ExBPA to have health scan? Is there any error logged in the report? Please post the detail information here.
