Hi,

Please check your certificate configuration by running the following command:

Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl

Then check whether the certificate which includes the namespace (mail.domain.com) is assigned with SMTP service. If that certificate doesnt have SMTP service, please run the following command to enable SMTP service:

Enable-ExchangeCertificate -Thumbprint 5113ae0233a72fccb75b1d01986286xxxxxxxxx -Services POP,IMAP,SMTP,IIS

Then check whether the issue persists.

Yes, It is just an example. Firstly, please run the Get-ExchangeCertificate | fl in my original posting to retrieve the certificate in your Exchange. It would be better to post the results here for more help. Just note to protect the private information about your company.
