Event ID 2003, source MasPerf
Hi, Suddenly started to receive Event ID, source MasPerf on an old Exchqange 2003 SP2 box.The description are:The description for Event ID ( 2003 ) in Source ( MasPerf ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. You may be able to use the /AUXSOURCE= flag to retrieve this description; see Help and Support for details. The following information is part of the event: .Anyone have seen this before or maybe know what the problem might be?

Hello Nejmann,
The issue can be caused by Masperf.dll, which is a Microsoft ActiveSync performance counters related dll file, is not registered properly in the registry.
I suggest running the following commands at a command prompt in the Exchsrvr\bin folder to unload and reload the configuration information and then test the issue again.
unlodctr masperf
lodctr masperf.ini
