I am getting EVENT ID 2081 on my Exchange Server 5.5 (yes I am still with 5.5; and just 3 weeks away from my upgrade). This is what happened. Backup Exec started complaineing that is is not connecting to IS but still backing you the entire DB. I run the ESEutil for defrag and fix the errors and that is it. Upon restarting the services I started to get this 2081 error. Description is ' the delivery thread is stopping" I can start the Information Store (that Event ID 2081 Shows up); and logon to my mailbox but there is no data. Blank. But if I open the Excahnge Administartor I can see all the mailboxes and can see how much space they are taking and all the detail. But Oulook will now show the messages, contacts, calanders etc. I know the Informations store is having a issue. Does anyone has any suggestion. thank you in advance for you help.
