Event ID for Exchange 2010 db failover
Hi We have Exchange 2010 running at one site. The DAG has two mailbox servers in London and two in Paris. We have tens of databases on each server. Sometimes, it would be handy to know when a database has been activated on another copy. Is there a Windows Event ID or message in the cluster.log/failover cluster manager that I should be looking for?

What are you using for Monitoring software? There are so many reasons a store could failover and would usually indicate a problem that the best solution is to invest in something like Systems Center Ops Manager. If you are interested only in the events that fire when gracefully activating a store on another server, you could do that manually anytime and see what events kick off.

Hi, You may monitor the status in EMC. The related event ID can also be found in Application event log. Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
