Event Id: 2128
Hi All, I see this Warning Event id very often in one of my mailbox server. This mailbox server is part of CCR cluster.Event Type: WarningEvent Source: MSExchange ADAccessEvent Category: Configuration Event ID: 2128Date: 1/18/2010Time: 1:11:10 PMUser: N/AComputer: EXMCPLC03ADescription:Process STORE.EXE (PID=1540). Object CN=FAX,CN=409,CN=Address-Templates,CN=Addressing,CN=ERE,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=xcelenergy,DC=com was not found on the Domain Controller xelcplc01.corp.com. This may indicate a replication or permission issue.
For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.After some googling all i could find is that for every 15 minutes ADaccess discovers the DC's & GC's and Hubs in the site where the mailbox is present and creates an event called 2080.However, i could not get much infor regarding this 2128.. ?Any help would be appreciated.ThanksShiv

Hi Shiv,
We could see the warning is an object can’t be found in DC. I suggest you use adsiedit.msc connect to xelcplc01.corp.com and other DC in your domain to check if you could find the object CN=FAX,CN=409,CN=Address-Templates,CN=Addressing,CN=ERE,CN=Microsoft Exchange,CN=Services,CN=Configuration,DC=xcelenergy,DC=com. If you could see the object when connecting to other DC, it can be caused by a replication or permission issue. If so, check the permission of that object, and compare with other value(e.g. CN=smtp).
Please also run Exbpa in that server to do a health check and permission check if the issue persists. This is a warning in event log, if you find there is no impact to your business, you could ignore it safely.
Thanks,
Elvis
