Eventid 1022 Exchange 2007
Hi anyone encountered this issue where by eventid 1022 is captured on exchange 2007 but the user mailbox does not reside on that mailstore; anyway to resolve this issue?

Few of us
have memorized all event ID numbers and few of us are inclined to look up the
numbers you've posted, so please post the entire event log entry. You are welcome to use the handy-dandy
"copy to clipboard" button in the event log detail window to assist you with
this.

Hi,
Yes, please paste the compete log here.
I guess you mean the log like this one?
Event ID: 1022
Type: Error
Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox
Description:
Logon Failure on database "[storage_group_name]\[mailbox_store_name]" - Windows
NT account [domain_name]\[user_name]; mailbox
/o=[organization_name]/ou=[site_name]/cn=[recipient_container_name]/cn=[user_name].
Error: -2147221231
For more information, click http://search.support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1.
If so, I would like to explain that the application event log may fill up with these events if users who are being moved are trying to log on. This is by design in Exchange, users cannot log on to their mailboxes while their mailboxes are being moved.
Hope this helps. Thanks,
Elvis

That is telling you that someone attempted to connect to a
mailbox and failed due to a permissions failure.-- Ed Crowley
