Hi everyone, 

How can I create a macro to give me one-click button along the toolbar shortcuts for "merge cells"?

No code needed!

The Alignment group on the Home tab of the ribbon already has a Merge & Center button. If you want a button that merges but doesn't center:

• Click the dropdown arrow on the right hand side of the Quick Access Toolbar.
• Select 'More Commands...' from the dropdown menu.
• Select 'All Commands' from the 'Choose commands from' dropdown.
• Scroll down until you see the 'Merge Cells' command.
• Select this command and click Add >>.
• Click OK.

So simple but will save me loads of time on a daily basis - as always thanks, Hans :)
