Hi. As I frequently have to switch between between German & English data input with Excel - with German using a comma, while English using a dot as decimal separator - I used Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator to create 2 different keyboard layouts with
its only difference being the decimal separator on the numeric keyboard switching from comma to dot.
Switching between the 2 keyboard layouts works with every darn program I used ever since, including former Excel versions 2003 & 2007! No problem in Notepad, Editor, and even Word 2013, Outlook 2013, etc.
I just hit Control+Shift to switch between comma & dot.
It WON'T work with Excel 2013! - Excel stubbornly ignores whatever layout I choose and the numeric separator always comes out as a comma.
How can I get Excel to use a different keyboard layout?
Any help is appreciated. Thank you
Regards
