Excel 2013 Old Buttons won't work with embedded form control, new buttons will.  Removing .exd does NOT work
I have read other posts regarding a similar problem but those solutions do NOT work.  Old buttons do not work for me (still works for others) but new buttons will fine.  I have tried to remove .exd files.  I have repaired office (i.e. re-installed the whole darn thing).  ran MS Office Fix it and I still cannot make old buttons work.  We have so many files that use buttons, i can't afford to insert all new buttons all over the place.  I need a more permanent solution.

Hi,
We have definitely heard your frustration now, Microsoft understands the position our customers are in and we are actively working to find a solution besides a FixIt that can be deployed to remedy the issue. If we have any update, we'll post in this forum immediately.

Thanks for your understanding.
