I have a simple pivottable with 2 rows, 1 is date which has been pulled from a web connector.  The 2nd field is sum of hours.

I get "We can't create a timeline for this report because it doesn't have a field formatted as a date."

I have tried editing the rows in 1a as dates, changing the format to date and we still get this error.  This is Excel 2013.
