Hi Hari Prasad.D,

Could you tell me if this issue only appeared in Excel?

First I suggest you if it works fine for other Office programs (e.g. WORD, PPT)

Then you need to check if it only appeared in .xlsx file. Try to create a .xls and .xlsm samples, and check if they work fine.

Based on your issue, I provide several methods to help you.

Method 1:

Try to Re-register Excel, open RUN dialog box and type excel /unregserver, click OK. Then reopen RUN dialog box and type excel /regserver, click OK.

Now please check if you can double click Excel file and open it.

Method 2:

If it only appeared in Excel:

Please open a blank Excel file and go to File > Options > Advanced > General Section > Tick the option "Ignore other application that use Dynamic Data Exchange"

Method 3:

Try to restore Office file associations, please refer to this article:

Please try these methods and check if they work for you. I'm glad to help and follow up your reply.

Hope it's helpful.
