Hello today my Excel is not working.  Existing or new spreadsheets are not applying the Fill Without Formatting facility unless I click the return key after each formula in a cell it simply copies the first cell rather than applying the formula and giving a new total - PLEASE HELP! Many thanks

Based on your description, my understanding is that you entered a formula in the first cell and tried to drag the formula with other cells. But they didn't calculate results automatically as shown in the following figure. Is my understanding correct?

If yes, please Go to FORMULAS tab- Calculation Options, and check if you have selected Automatic option or not.

If my understanding is incorrect, please provide more information about your issue.
