Hi Reno Mardo,
In regarding of this issue, I have a couple of questions.
- What are the file format of Excel and PowerPoint files? XLS/PPT or XLSX/PPTX.
- How many RAM did the Office suits occupy when he running the PowerPoint presentations?
- How did you link the Excel data source file? Local Area Network or other
Then, I have some suggestions, you might try them.
1) If you are using 32bit Office 2013 in the particular PC that has 6GB RAM. Please try to use 64 bit Office, because the the max RAM usage of the Excel 2010 32bit version is 2 GB. Even if we add more physical memory, 32bit version wont be able to
use it.
2) Disable auto calculation option.
Many calculation options (Automatic, Automatic except for data tables,
Manual, Recalculate workbook before saving) and the iteration settings (Enable iterative calculation,
Maximum Iterations, Maximum Change) operate at the application level instead of at the workbook level (they are the same for all open workbooks).
To find advanced calculation options, click the File tab, and click
Options. In the Excel Options dialog box, click Advanced. Under the
Formulas section set calculation options
