Excel XML Tools: How to export more than 65536 rows to XML?

Hi.

I have created a spreadsheet with data that I want to export to XML using the XML Tools that Excel 2013 has embedded. I have followed the instructions given on these links [Create an XML data file and XML schema file from worksheet data, Export XML data] from Office.com and I have successfully exported the XML file.

However, when I have more than 65536 rows on the spreadsheet, let's say 70000 rows, the [Export] functionality only takes the last 4464 (=70000-65536) rows.

How can I export all the rows? Is there a workaround for this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The issue might be caused by the rows limitation of the exporting tool. It would be better to contact the support of the tool to have an upgrade.

Hi,

Try the save as file and select the "Save as type" => "XML spreadsheet 2003 (*.xml)"

Thanks ProDevX, but that is not the case.

Hi.

Rex Zhang, that is what I was thinking the problem is. However I have been unable to find any information about this 'limit'.

The only limit I've found is that the sheets created with Excel 2003 can only have 65536 rows, but because I'm using Excel 2013 (.xlsx files) that limit doesn't apply.

Greetings.
