Excel file says it is in use by person one but person two is actually the one that has it open
Excel file says it is in use by person one but person two is actually the one that has it open. How can I get my file server to report the correct information so that I don't have to go on a seek and find to see who currently has the file open?

How do you monitor who is using the file?
Third party program may cause unexpected problems.
Configure "auditing" properly to see if it still reports wrong message.
