Excessive Search Folder links
Is there a way to find a Folder (FID) in a database without dismounting and running ISInteg? We hhave performance issues due to updating a message in a folder with 113 Search folder links.

Are you looking for the user or you know the user and you are looking for the folder?

Perhaps ExMon will show you who the user is without taking anything offline. Not 100% sure on that, but it won't cost you anything to use the tool to see.

So ExMON did show a few users with High RPC but None of the users I checked had any Search Folder's created other than the default. If I suspect who the user may be, can I find the message in their mailbox from the Message ID?

Hi Mike,
Or do you get error 9774 in the Event Viewer?
If yes, please see this similar post:

The error indicates database have some corruption, suggest Run offline defragmentation (eseutil /D) and IsInteg (isinteg -s <servername> -fix -test alltests.

No 9774 events. 9794 only.
I am trying to avoid the ISInteg fix but it looks inevitable

Hi Mike,
Yes, seems like it is only choice to run the ISInteg with -dump while database is dismounted.Frank Wang
