Exch2k7 spk3 - SMTP Logs - size of messages (w3c format???)
Hi,
today we have Exch2k3 and we import the SMTP log files (located at 'C:\WINDOWS\system32\LogFiles\SMTPSVC1') to a SQL database to create some reports regarding amount of bytes, how many connections from the Ip 200.xxx.xxx.xxx (one of our custumer).
After read some Exch2k7 docs/articles I found that the information regarding size is not available. It´s true? Is there a way to enable w3c format/check that?

Would using the message tracking logs instead of the protocol logs
work for you?

Hi Renato P,
Sure, the totalbytes would show the message size when it is delivered.
Regards!
