Exch 2010 - Digital Certificate names exactly as Exch2k7?
Hi, we are installing a new Exchange server (2010) and we need request/buy a new digital certificate (with multiple names support) to install; my question is: - Should we generate the request using the 3 names (mail.yourdomain.com, autodiscover.yourdomain.com and exchserver.yourdomain.local) as we do with Exch2k7? tks, Renato P

If those are the names you're exposing, then, yes. --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP --- Rich Matheisen MCSE+I, Exchange MVP

If you plan to coexist Exchange 2007 and Exchange 2010, then you need addional name for legacy.yourdomain.com . I'd suggest you refer to Microsoft articles below: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2009/11/20/3408856.aspx http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd351133.aspx Hope it is helful.Fiona Liao TechNet Community Support
