Exchange/outlook 2007: OOF for Outside My Organization Hello everybody, We are running in our company Exchange 2007 x64 since year 2007 under Win Server 2003 St., and AD 2003. Recently, we encounter that when an employees set Out Office Assistance through MS Outlook 2007 or OWA for Inside My Organization and Outside My Organization. If someone from outside organization sends mail to the user the recipient (sender) will get the message that stored in Inside My Organization where he/she get the message which is stored in Outside My Organization. If you have an idea why this happen, kindly share me with your information. And what is the proper solution and steps to solve it. Thank you and Regards, Yaseen Alhashim, IT Administrator (IT Dept. May be removing both OOFs in OWA & also clearing up with MFCMapi would help. Then configure both OOFs from thebeginning and check...Amit Tank | MVP Exchange Server | MCITP: EMA | MCSA: M | http://ExchangeShare.WordPress.com

Hi,Outlook and OWA utilize hidden messages in your Inbox to store the OOF rule used to trigger the OOF reply and the OOF message template used in the response. To locate these hidden OOF rules and templates, use the following steps in the MAPI Editor tool.1. Start MFCMAPI.exe and click OK in the first dialog box that appears.2. On the Session menu, click Logon and Display Store Table.3. Select the profile for the mailbox under inspection.4. In the list of stores for the profile, double-click Mailbox - <mailbox name>.5. Expand Root Container Top of Information Store.6. Right-click Inbox and then click Open associated contents table.7. Delete following messages if exist:a. Message class == IPM.Rule.Message0x65EB001E == Microsoft Exchange OOF Assistant0x65EC001E == Microsoft.Exchange.OOF.InternalSenders.Globalb. Message class == IPM.Note.Rules.OofTemplate.Microsoftc. Message class == IPM.Rule.Message0x65EB001E == MSFT:TDX OOF Rulesd. Message class == IPM.Rule.Message0x65EB001E == Microsoft Exchange OOF Assistant0x65EC001E == Microsoft.Exchange.OOF. AllExternalSenders.Globale. Message class == IPM.Note.Rules.ExternalOOFTemplate.Microsoftf. Message class == IPM.ExtendedRule.Message0x65EB001E == Microsoft Exchange OOF Assistant0x65EC001E == Microsoft.Exchange.OOF.KnownExternalSenders.GlobalAfter that, please open Outlook and configure OOF again, then check this issue.ThanksAllen
