The SMTP protocol logs would show you what happens between the sending
and receiving SMTP client and server. The Message tracking logs would
provide you details about the delivery of the message once it's been
accepted.

I can’t determine whether
SBS2011 is the same as exchange 2010.
SMTP log
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\ProtocolLog\SmtpSend
Message track log
C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V14\TransportRoles\Logs\MessageTracking directory

We had SBS2003 and in that server there was two different locations with two slightly different logs about email detailed info. I supposed there is two different logs in SBS2011 also..?
