I'm trying to install Exchange 03 on a second Windows Server 03 machine. We have a separate 03 Server now that handles DNS, DHCP, AD etc. When I run Forestprep on the second 03 server, I get the error Failed to connect to the Schema Master server.I've looked through the TechNet articles but haven't found instructions on how to do this install. Hi, You could try to run the /forestprep on the schema master server. Also make sure that the exchange serveris using the active directory server as a DNS server. Leif
