Hi, i've an exchange 2000 server in our company and our mail hosting was at service provider side. currently our internal exchange server ip can't ping to any of the external ip but only can ping internal ip. at the same time other internal ip also can't ping the exchange internal ip and can't receive mail. i've try to change an new internal ip for my exchange and all the issue was solve but after few months the new IP also have the same problem but the old internal exchange ip that give me the problem previously have become normal again. may i know anyone can help me? thanks

Hi, 1. Have you disable firewall on the Exchange 2000 Server temporarily to check whether the issue persists? 2. On the Exchange 2000 Server, if you ping 127.0.0.1, whether the issue persists In addition, the forum is for Exchange specific issues. From your description, it looks like a Network issue.
