Exchange 2003/2007 Transition
I recently added an Exchange 2007 server to our environment. We have a small Exchange 2003 server and i want to transition to 2007. When I pointed my firewall at the new exchange server users could no longer access ActiveSync RPC over HTTP, etc.. I have all 3 (CAS, HT and MBX) roles installed on the one server. The Active Sync users keep getting prompted for passwords.

Hi,
I suggest you go to https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ to do an ActiveSync and Outlook Anywhere test, it will guide you some general steps to troubleshoot the issue. If the issue persists, please paste the result here. Please also paste the related event log here.
Could you please describe your environment in detail? Have you move the mailboxes to Exchange 2007 or they’re still at Exchange 2003?
Thanks,
Elvis
