Exchange 2003 - Weird Distribution List Issue
Hi guys,
I have come across a weird issue - essentially there is a user that sends out emails to a distribution list that includes everyone in the organisation however she gets bounce-backs saying "could not deliver to the recpient" for a few names.
OK, nothing odd there except when I check the distribution list the names aren't in there. I have gone onto the users machine, new message, "To", selected the list and expanded it to see all the names but the names generating the bounce-backs
are not in there. I've checked in AD and there are no accounts or contacts in there either.
Is it possible this information is cached on the client somewhere (I was thinking the auto-complete but apparently she selects the DL each time from the "To" option when sending a new message)....
Any help massively appreciated!
PS
It's Exchange 2003 and Outlook 2003

Delegates.
This is very common. It means that one or more of the recipients have those other recipients set as a delegate.

And lots of times the delegates on a mailbox are mailboxes that no
longer exist in the organization -- that's what leads to the NDRs.
They're a right royal PITA to track down.
