Exchange 2003 - mailboxes not being created
Hi,
I have 3 existing PF server and have added a 4th, in our london office [2 in london 2 other in remote sites]. The new London server has just finished replicating public folder, however when a user is created and a mailbox [ using AD users & computer
with Exchange tools installed ] the mailbox never appears on the Exchange server i.e. log onto the new London Exchange server | ESM | navigate to the database | no mailbox. I can confirm the AD user object is updated with SMTP email address information, but
I can not log onto the mailbox using Outlook. As a work around I can move the mailbox to the Old London server [ it appears in ESM database ] and then move the mailbox back again. So whats happening?
Thanks

Hi
Mailboxes do not appear in Exchange System Manager until the user logs into mailbox for the first time (owa/outlook) or until it receives some mail.

Hi,
I want to know what changes occurs after user logs into mailbox for the first time or until it receives some mail that makes the mailbox visible in the Exchange System Manager.
