Exchange 2003 - moving SMTP default folders
Steve,
Thanks, yes saw the article. But question is more of a risks and interuption in service to clients. I expect the whole thing to take no more than 15 minutes and be risk free; but worth asking just in case.

Hi
I have 4 Exchange 2003 server, in the same admin group. The London Server is the Bridgehead server but also has the default SMTP ques on a separate EMC provided LUN. We are decommisioning the EMC. If I wish to move the SMTP default folders back to their
orginal[defaul] location what is the best practice and any interuption in service to users?
Thanks

Hi
According to my test, you just stop services in a few minutes. So I think that it is not big risk.

Hi,
Yes move went smoothly. Although worth noting the stopping of SMTP virtual server took at least 30 seconds [ in testing it was done in 3 ].
Thanks to everyone.
