Disabled accounts receive email if you have KB903158hotfix installed on Exchange Server. You may follow below article to stop receiving mail by applying message restriction...

Hey Chetan,
Scroll it down bit more :)
See section "But what if I don't want disabled accounts to receive email?" to configure user account and stop receiving emails...
You need to set restriction in ADUC | User -> properties | Exchange General tab to accept emails only from a blank dummy no member distribution list and stop from other valid accounts.

Yes, you would have installed KB903158 hotfix or any other patches which have updated main Exchange Store engine "store.exe" with 6.5.7234.3 or later version and that is the reason now it requires to do above settings.
If you know VBScripting then you may create and schedule a script to search for recently disabled user account in AD and set the mentioned settings automatically for you.
You may try to get help on VBscripting in development forum...
