Hi Joseph,Its really tough to say how much IOPS for a particular MBX. Basically there are lot of factors which will decide this.Check this out http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb125019(EXCHG.65).aspxLook at this theortical data. But even this will change once the user starts doing a search etc.

Do not forget about mobile devices. ActiveSync is about .75 IOPS per device. Blackberry is estimated to be at 3.75 IOPS. Now Blackberry dispute that the number is this high but take it with a grain of salt. Finally those numbers are assuming you are in Cached mode. If you are not, add another factor of 1.5 onto it. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb738147%28EXCHG.80%29.aspx Mark Morowczynski|MCT| MCSE 2003:Messaging, Security|MCITP:ES, SA,EA|MCTS:Windows Mobile Admin|Security+|http://almostdailytech.com
