Exchange 2003 Error Access Denied ID c0050007 while adding a new mailbox
Exchange Standard 2003 32-bit running on Windows 2003 standard 32-bit. After introducing Windows 2008 R2 domain controllers and transferring FSMO roles, we get the following error while trying to add new mailboxes. Access Denied Facility: win32 id no: c0070005 Microsoft Active Directory - Exchange Extension I get the same error when browsing for a dc in the Domain RUS. I get the same error when trying to add a new RUS and browsing for a dc. I still have my old 2003 DCs and active directory is running in 2003 mode. Can someone help?

I recommend that you post your question in the Active Directory Services forum. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverDS/threadsEd Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."

I was able to make this error go away by transferring one of my FSMO roles back to a 2003 domain controller.
