Hi all The problem I have is I have added a 2nd Exchange server Windows 2003 and Exchange 2003 (Fully service packed) into our Organisation, on the new server when its restarted the MTA and the IS service do not start automatically. I can manually goto Services and they start no problem. The new server is going to replace the old server once the mailboxes are moved, but i didnt want to move until i resolve the issue with the services not starting. Thanks in advance Jason

Hi Nope no errors at all, Services both set to Automatic start on reboot

It is very unusual that there are no events logged. The service must be trying to startup and then fails to start. Is there any indication in system log about service startup failure or abnormal termination of service? Anything in application log? Is this a shared server or dedicated to exchange role only?
