Hi,
I suggest you download ExBPA to have a health check for the Exchange Server. It can help you fix some normal issues.
If the issue persists, please help me collecting the following information:
1. Please paste the related errors in event log.
2. Have you recently changed anything before the issue occurs? (eg. Installed new software/hardware, ect)
3. Could you describe your environment in more detail?
Thanks,
Elvis

Well the first scan I ran shows my database file as being compressed and that my paging file is larger than the Physical Memory. Those were the only critical. Also showing other errors that the network driver is more than two years old, the log files are on the same volume. I have not changed anything. I believe my database might be larger than the defaults set which I believe unmounts it if I am not mistaken. This is one of the errors. Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeIS Mailbox Store Event Category: General Event ID: 9690 Date: 3/31/2009 Time: 5:00:28 AM User: N/A Computer: CREVIER-EXCH Description: Exchange store 'First Storage Group\Mailbox Store (CREVIER-EXCH)': The logical size of this database (the logical size equals the physical size of the .edb file and the .stm file minus the logical free space in each) is 54 GB. This database size has exceeded the size limit of 53 GB. This database will be dismounted immediately. For more information, click http://www.microsoft.com/contentredirect.asp.

Hello,
From the event log, we could see the issue is caused by database has exceeded size limited. So I suggest you increase the database size limit with the steps in the following KB:
How to increase the Exchange Server 2003 Service Pack 2 18-gigabyte database size limit
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/912375
After that, you could do a offline defragment to get more free spaces. You could check recent occurrences of event 1221 to know how mach free spaces you can get after the procedure.
How to defragment Exchange databases
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/328804
As the limit can be increased to 75 GB at most. In the long term, I suggest you create a new store and move some mailboxes to the new store.
Hope this helps. Thanks,
Elvis
